Vivant National Award
Every year the NAHB National Sales and Marketing Council holds The Nationals Awards to honor the best in new-home sales and marketing. Milesbrand—along with partners Trio Environments, KGA Architects and Joyce Homes—was the 2019 NAHB Nationals Gold Winner for Detached Community of the Year – Vivant.
The objective was to sell the remaining eighty-one homes in a struggling master-planned community, recently purchased out of bankruptcy. After careful consideration, Milesbrand developed a strategic plan focused on creating an entirely new community identity for the remaining eighty-one lots. Since then, Milesbrand has led all branding and marketing efforts for the new Vivant community.
A key element was the builder’s decision to collaborate with an interior design firm to create new home designs unlike anything available in the market. This was accomplished by designing from the inside out—beginning with floorplan circulation, programming, and flexibility of every space. The team also brought in Wellness Within Your Walls to create a beautiful, sustainable, non-toxic interior environment, and became the first Wellness Within Your Walls certified community in Colorado.
The name, logo, and graphic identity Milesbrand created for this community reflect the elegant, refined nature of the architecture. The use of black window frames and white and crème exteriors informed a strong black and white brand color palette.
The results are reflective of the innovative product design that defined the community combined with elegant branding and highly targeted marketing. Within 30 days of the soft launch, six homes were under contract with a deep prospect list of 220.
